Holly Acres Road - Long-Term Sidewalk Closure - September 24 to December
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, a section of the north sidewalk on Holly Acres Road between Richmond Road and Highway 417 will be closed. A pedestrian detour will be in place.

Human West Nile virus case and a horse with EEEV in Ottawa
Ottawa Public Health is reporting the first human case of WNV infection in an Ottawa resident for the 2025 season and has confirmed that a horse in Ottawa recently tested positive for EEEV.

Due to the extreme dry conditions, three local conservation authorities have issued low water advisories. Users of private wells are encouraged to be prudent with their water use and avoid all unnecessary watering activities, including lawn watering.
