IRONMAN Canada-Ottawa returns on Sunday, August 2
IRONMAN returns again this summer, transforming Ottawa’s streets into a racecourse on Sunday, August 2.
The IRONMAN Canada-Ottawa event will start at 6 am with a 3.8-kilometre swim at Britannia Beach followed by a 180-kilometre bike ride through local neighbourhoods.
Cleaner parks, easier sorting
Recycling and composting at the park is getting easier. The City is adding three-stream waste bins to 48 parks across Ottawa this year. Most of the new bins are already in place, and the rest will be installed by the end of July.
