Participate in an active celebration of Ottawa’s 200th anniversary by trying various free sporting activities on the weekend of Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7.
National Nursing Week
The theme for this year’s National Nursing Week is “The Power of Nurses to Transform Health.” This theme resonates with the work being done every day by nurses across our city and reflects the role of nurses at Ottawa Public Health.
Ottawa parks gear up for spring with return of free sports equipment lockers
This spring, free sports equipment lockers are set to reopen in select City of Ottawa parks (including Woodburn Park in Barrhaven), giving residents easy access to borrow balls and gear just steps from their favourite courts and fields.
