Private approach By-law review
The City of Ottawa is conducting a review and update of the Private Approach By-law which regulates the construction, use and maintenance of private approaches in the city.
Summer forestry update
The first phase of the 2025 Plant Your Place! program is complete and was a huge success. It saw 1,200 homes across the City access trees for their property at no charge.
News from the Library
Chinese Family Storytime and Stay & Play: Stories, rhymes, and songs in Mandarin and Cantonese for children of all ages and a parent or caregiver. There will be self-directed activities and toys for parents, caregivers and young children after the Family Storytime.
Woodroffe Ave: Upcoming road closure
Beginning the night of July 20, Woodroffe Ave between Richmond Rd and Deschênes St will be fully closed for approximately three months.
Ottawa Police expand Safe Trade Program with new locations
The OPS has added to its existing three Safe Trade Zones with a new location at the Greenbank Police Station, conveniently located near Barrhaven.
