Protect yourself: Get your flu vaccine
Ottawa Public Health (OPH) is recommending that residents aged 6 months and older get their annual flu vaccine as soon as possible this flu season.

O-Train Line 1 - October 19 - November 3, 2024
As part of ongoing work with RTM to complete required works across Line 1 to improve the system’s reliability, train service on the line will be suspended in part or in full on select days from 19 October to 3 November 2024.

Trillium Line trial running begins next week
OC Transpo staff have released the schedule and criteria for Trillium Line (O-Train lines 2 and 4) trial running, which will begin Monday 7 October 2024. Trial running will demonstrate if all elements of the system are ready for passenger service, representing the culmination of months of testing, basically a “final exam” for TransitNEXT.
Nominations are open for the 2025 Ottawa Heritage Awards
The City of Ottawa recognizes outstanding achievements in heritage conservation with the Ottawa Heritage Awards. The applications for projects completed between January 2023 and December 2024 are now open.
