The City of Ottawa and the Ottawa Police Service have launched a new public emergency notification system, and registration is now open.
Ottawa Alert delivers urgent updates directly to residents, businesses, and visitors via text message, email, or mobile app. Subscribers will receive timely, location-based information and instructions during emergencies.
Highway 417 Ramps at Pinecrest, Richmond to close until August
Starting Monday May 5 and expected until the end of August, the Highway 417 westbound on-ramp from southbound Pinecrest Road and the Highway 417 westbound off-ramp to Richmond Road will be closed and detours will be in place.
Mental Health Week May 5 - 11
