Planning and Housing Committee approves Official Plan implementation for 2023
The Planning and Housing Committee received the Official Plan’s 2023 implementation plan. It will focus on three areas including support for the Official Plan through a series of reports on various amendments, completing existing secondary plan projects and planning for future neighbourhoods.

Vacant Unit Tax declaration deadline is one month away
The Thursday, March 16 deadline is quickly approaching for those residential property owners who have not submitted their declaration. If a declaration is not filed – even if it is a principal residence – it will be deemed vacant and the VUT will be applied.

Civic and commemorative events funding now open
The City of Ottawa invites local not-for-profit organizations, such as community groups and associations to apply for up to $3,000 in Civic Events funding. This funding is used to deliver family-friendly events in local Ottawa communities and neighbourhoods.
