The first show of English Theatre’s season is Fifteen Dogs, an adaptation of the award-winning novel by André Alexis. As part of our community engagement efforts, we’re hosting a special event – Fifteen Dogs Unleashed: From Page to Stage – featuring acclaimed author André Alexis and director Marie Farsi.

They’ll be in conversation with NAC English Theatre Artistic Director Nina Lee Aquino, discussing the journey of bringing this beloved novel to life on stage. This is a unique opportunity for community members, students, theatre lovers, and anyone passionate about the arts to gain behind-the-scenes insights, connect with others, and celebrate Canadian theatre.
