Riding your bike in June can be a win win win win situation
Ottawa is a great place to ride your bike any time of year, but June is Let’s Bike Month. The EnviroCentre, in partnership with the City is offering a series of workshops, events and promotions during Let’s Bike Month.
Riding OC Transpo just got easier with Interac® Debit
You can now tap your Interac® Debit card on any fare gate or bus to ride transit. The introduction of Interac Debit to the existing O-Payment options makes it even easier to take OC Transpo.

Take a look and listen behind closed doors at Doors Open Ottawa
The 22nd annual Doors Open Ottawa event on Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2 is your chance to actually open those doors and peek inside! Over 80 buildings will be offering in-person or virtual tours behind-the-doors.
Solid Waste Master Plan update
The Solid Waste Master Plan’s Engagement Series 3 ran from March to April 2024 and we heard from hundreds of participants and stakeholders through an online survey, online and in-person engagement sessions as well as focus groups. Staff have been working to analyze this feedback to help shape the Waste Plan and inform future planning for some of the Waste Plan’s actions.
Victoria Day schedule changes
The City of Ottawa would like to remind residents of the following schedule changes and City service impacts for the Victoria Day holiday on Monday, May 20. Garbage collection is delayed by one day.
Earl Mulligan Drive neighbourhood traffic calming study
The City is conducting a neighbourhood traffic calming study along Earl Mulligan Dr between Mountshannon Dr and Woodroffe Ave in response to traffic concerns raised by residents.
