Ottawa Public Health (OPH) is advising individuals to stay safe during the upcoming solar eclipse and to be aware of the risks associated with looking directly at the Sun.
Easter weekend schedule changes
The City of Ottawa would like to remind residents of the following schedule changes and City service impacts on Good Friday, March 29 and Easter Monday, April 1. Garbage will be delayed by one day.

Register for spring Cleaning the Capital
As warmer weather approaches, you might notice a winter’s worth of litter scattered around the city. Twice a year, thousands of residents help keep our community spaces clean and green through Cleaning the Capital and you can join them by registering for the spring 2024 campaign!
