The City of Ottawa would like to remind residents of the following schedule changes and City service impacts on Good Friday, March 29 and Easter Monday, April 1. Garbage will be delayed by one day.

You can ask a scientist or you can look out the window; either way, it looks like Ottawa will continue to have warmer winters, hotter summers, more windstorms and more heavy rain.

As warmer weather approaches, you might notice a winter’s worth of litter scattered around the city. Twice a year, thousands of residents help keep our community spaces clean and green through Cleaning the Capital and you can join them by registering for the spring 2024 campaign!

Get in the game and join a City Wide Sports league! From beach volleyball to pickleball, City Wide Sports leagues are a great way to stay active and make friends while having fun.
