• 📚 Featured collection: Dickinson Staff Comfort Reads↗ A list of RD staff's favourite comfort or nostalgic reads.  

• 🎉 Special event: Meet the Parrots with Parrot Partners↗ - Monday, June 30th, 10:30 – 11:30 am. Family program for ages 4+. Registration required.  

  For this program, Parrot Partners will bring at least 3 parrots, from different areas of the world, ranging in size from very small and ‘spunky’ to massive and ‘mellow.’

For adults 

• 💼 Employment Support at the Library↗ - Friday, June 27 at 10:30 am - 12:30 pm.  Drop-in to meet one-on-one with an Employment Counsellor from the Pinecrest-Queensway Employment Services team. First come, first served. 

For families

• 🎨Craft-a-palooza: DIY Passports – Wednesday, July 2nd, 2-3 pm. For children ages 7-12. Drop-in. 

• 🎲Game On! 1, 2, 3... au jeu - Wednesday, July 2nd, 10 - 12 pm. Play card games and board games at the library. Drop-in family program.  

• 🌎Reading Around the World: Book Tasting & Scavenger Hunt – Thursday, July 3rd, 2-3 pm For children ages 7-12. Drop-in. 

For Teens

• 🎨Teen Art Contest – June 23rd to August 27th 
  When: Drop off art by Wednesday, August 27th at 5 pm 
  Rules: Pick up an entry form and rules at the Ruth E. Dickinson, 100 Malvern Dr.
