Teen Exam Cram / Période d'études pour ados - January 22-27, 2pm: Come use our program room to study for exams. Snacks and materials provided.
Family Fun Fair: Celebrate Family Literacy Day - January 23 and 30th, 2 pm: Join us for a series of fun activities to do as a family! You'll have the opportunity to discover various stations, including puppets, magnet tiles, tabletop games, bingo, and a craft! Please visit familyliteracyday.ca for more family literacy activities. All ages program. Drop-in program.
Atelier théâtre en français↗ - Chaque dimanche jusqu'au 22 février, 11 h 30: Nous invitons les jeunes de 8 à 13 ans à se joindre à nous pour un atelier le théâtre stimulant conçu pour éveiller l’imagination, renforcer la confiance en soi et développer des compétences essentielles en art de la scène. Inscription requise.
Bilingual Ready, Set, Kindergarten | À vos marques, prêts, maternelle! (Session 1) - January 28, 2pm: Stories and child-centered learning stations with a focus on the foundational concepts of letter recognition, numeracy, colors, shapes, measurement, rhyming, and retelling.
Slow Stitchers and Handcrafters - January 29, 6:30pm: If you hand sew, quilt, knit, crochet, needlefelt, cross-stitch, embroider, needlepunch, english paper piece or any other handcraft, please join us for a fun, welcoming get together to work on your own projects. You will also be able to share good condition crafting items that need a new home at the 'give away table’.
Lunch Lounge Party - January 30, 11:30am: Teens aged 13 to 17, celebrate the end of exams with a well‑deserved break at our Lunch Lounge Party — a chill hangout where you can bring your own lunch and unwind with friends after all that studying. You'll be able to jump between a variety of activities just for teens. Snacks and beverages will be provided, but you'll need to bring your own lunch.
Welcome to your library - January 31, 10:30am: Join us to learn how to unlock all your library card has to offer! Beyond books, free digital resources like e-books and online databases, book delivery and device lending are just a small portion of what Ottawa Public Library has to offer. Learn about all our offerings or simply visit with staff and ask them your library related questions. ***Une facilitatrice bilingue sera sur place pour répondre à toutes vos questions par rapport à la Bibliothèque publique d'Ottawa.
