Looking to learn a new language in 2025? Check out Mango Languages↗ through the Ottawa Public Library. Mango languages has more than 70 world languages and dialects, English language learning, and assorted specialty courses to meet specific subject matter interests.

  • 🍎 Ready, Set, Kindergarten!↗ A school readiness program for children 3–4 years old, who will be entering kindergarten in 2025, and their adult co-learner. Join us for stories and child-centered learning activities over 5 weeks to get your little one ready for school. Online registration↗ opens Monday, January 6, 2025 for the January/February session. 

  • 🖍 Saturday, January 11, 2024, 2:00PM - 3:30PM - Sensory Storytime↗ provides a welcoming environment and respects the needs of children from 18 months to 6 years who live with developmental disabilities and/or autism, or who show signs of a developmental delay. Drop-In.

  • 💼 Friday, January 10, 2025, 10:00AM - Employment Support at the Library↗. Are you looking for work? Unemployed or underemployed? Drop-in to meet one-on-one with an Employment Counsellor from the Pinecrest-Queensway Employment Services team. Bilingual support is available.
