Nominations open: Ontario Senior Achievement Award

Each year, the program recognizes extraordinary seniors who, after the age of 65, have made significant contributions to their community or province. Nominations are open until December 1, 2025.

Eligibility

The person you nominate (the nominee) must:

  • have contributed to the community after the age of 65

  • be a resident of Ontario

Seniors who qualify for this award may have contributed to many different fields such as the arts, literature, community service, volunteering, education, environment, fitness, and humanitarian activities.

You cannot nominate:

  • yourself

  • someone who has passed away

  • someone currently holding political office

  • elected federal, provincial, municipal representatives or political appointees
