📚 Ruth E. Dickinson Recommends (for Kids!) 📚

Two Degrees by Alan Gratz
For ages 8 to 12

Three groups of kids from different parts of North America all fight for their lives because of the effects of climate change. Owen and George from Churchill, Manitoba, come face-to-face with a deadly polar bear. In Miami, Natalie deals with floodwaters from a hurricane, and in California, Akira battles for her life in a wildfire. The author links all three stories together seamlessly. Perfect for those interested in climate change and for fans of Refugee.
