March break activities are now online

It’s time to start exploring the City of Ottawa’s March Break programs and camps which are now online and ready for browsing on the new registration system register.ottawa.ca.

March Break fun includes a wide variety of options, offered in English and French for children aged 4-14 years old. You can choose from both in-person and virtual options where children can learn new or enhance existing skills in skating, swimming, basketball, hockey, painting, drawing, junior science, cooking and babysitting, among others. Or sign up for one of our popular Camp Energy and Camp Adventure programs. Inclusive Recreation activities for all ages are also available.

If you haven’t done so already, be sure to create a new account before online registration opens on Wednesday, January 25 at 9 pm. You can explore your options using filters for activity, time and day, age group, and location. You can even use Map View to find activities near you.

When preparing for registration day, it’s a good idea to browse and bookmark more than one of your preferred activities by creating a wish list for easy retrieval during registration. If your first choice is full, you can quickly get to your second or third choices.

The new registration system will continue to evolve and improve. Your comments and ideas are welcome as we continue our path forward to enhance your customer experience and keep you and your family active and engaged.

To make browsing easier, use the season filter under the “When” button of the activities search to select 2023 March Break.
