Cleaning the Capital (Fall 2024)

Registration for the autumn 2024 edition of Cleaning the Capital is now open!

The programme is an opportunity to help your community, for volunteer hours, and to keep our parks and river shorelines looking nice.

Interested participants may learn more, register individually or as a group, and choose a location anywhere in the community at ottawa.ca/clean or contact Cleaning@ottawa.ca for more information. Be sure to check the map to ensure you don’t select the same project site as another group.

The city will provide participants with clean-up kits that includes garbage bags and gloves, which can be picked-up at one of 14 locations across the city.

Important dates

• August 15, 2024 - Registration opens

• September 15 to October 15, 2024 - Fall Cleaning the Capital campaign

• October 1, 2024 - Registration closes

• November 1, 2024 - Deadline to submit your online cleanup report
